The umbrella body of Edo people, Edo Progressive Indigenes Association (EPIA) has said it will be taking its cash and food support exercise to the Central and Northern senatorial zones of the state in the coming week.
EPIA said it is now set to credit about 4000 indigenes in Edo North and Central from next week as part of its third phase 2000 direct account crediting.
This is part of its COVID 19 cash and food palliative program.
National President of the organisation, Dr Bishop Omogiade E Edokpolo stated this in a WhatsApp chat to Jungle Journalist Media Limited.
He also expressed profound gratitude to Engineer Osaigie John Ididia(Osigie Baba) for his donations towards furthering the goals of EPIA over the coronavirus pandemic lockdown.
He thereafter also appealed to other donors to also make contributions to enable EPIA reach the nooks and crannies of Edo land with palliatives.
