List of international stars who have joined #EndSARS/#EndSWAT and what they said

A number of notable international musicians, footballers and preachers have given their voices to the ongoing protests against police brutality in Nigeria and the call for reforms in the force.

Jungle Journalist Media Limited monitored the social network and below is a number of tweets by some of these stars who have identified with the Nigerian youth community in the calls.

Canadian-American legendary musician, Celine Dion:

‘My heart is melting after reading what is going on in Nigeria…#EndSARS #EndPoliceBrutality”

Kanye West: “I stand with my Nigerian brothers and sisters to end police brutality.”

Manchester United Midfielder, Paul Pogba:
“I stand with my Nigerian brothers and sisters to end police brutality, the government must answer to the peoples cries #EndPoliceBrutalityinNigeria.”

American music producer and rapper, Sean “Diddy” Combs simply tweeted: 👊🇳🇬#ENDSARS.

Senegalese-American Rapper Akon also wrote on his Twitter handle “Nigeria is one of the country I love so much and I wanna join my little bro@wizkidayo to protest SARS. So I say together we will #EndSWAT and #SARSMUSTENDNOW

American rapper Jay-Z:
I’ve always had an ancestral connection with Nigeria. That’s why I’ve decided to put a crack on the ice by breaking my silent. My family and I lend our voices to support Nigerian youths on #SARSMUSTENDNOW and #EndSWAT

American rapper Cardi B is among those who reacted to the #EndSARS protest in the country.

The music star’s reaction came after a Nigerian informed her about the situation in the country.

“Madam @iamcardib, Trump is not your only problem. Your beloved Nigeria is currently in a state of pandemonium. We are not safe!! If you’ve ever loved this country, please help use your platform to create more awareness for us. Enough is enough! #EndSarsProtests #EndSARSNow!!”

On Sunday, American singer Drake shared an #EndSARS post from Grace Ladoja, the Nigerian-British talent manager and socialist who is best known for being Skepta’s manager:

“Pls check this post from my family for the info @graceladoja,” Drake captioned the post along with a Nigerian flag emoji.

Kranium, Chance the Rapper, Lil Baby, and City Girls joined in the campaign too.

American singer-songwriter Trey Songz tweeted that after doing some research he would like to “speak out against what’s going on in Nigeria right now. Their pleas to #EndSarsNow IS VERY REAL. I have so much love for my Nigerian fans and it’s so hurtful to hear whats happening.”

Songz added: “Police brutality here in America often is an abuse of power driven by race. To be brutalized, extorted and murdered by your own people is unimaginable. Prayers up and I’m researching ways I can help. #EndSARS.” He also quoted a tweet by Davido on the matter and said: “I stand with you”

American rapper Big Sean on his Twitter page said: “Love to Nigeria, Nigerian roots!!! #EndSarsNow “
