As part of efforts to make Peter Obi wins the February 25th presidential poll, an anonymous donor handed over 50 SUV vehicles, to aid the last minute campaign to Presidential Campaign Council of the Labour Party (LP) in Adamawa State.

Presenting the SUVs at the LP PCC Office in Yola, a representative of the donor, Yusuf Jabatawa, said the cars were a personal gesture of the donor to ease movement and aid victory for the Peter Obi and Datti Ahmed.

According to him the SUVs is the last minute strategy by the Labour Party stressing that it will enable them go to nook and crannies of the state to converse for vote for Peter Obi and Ahmed Datti for the February 25 presidential election across the 21 local government areas of the state.

Just as the governorship candidate in the state, Mustapha Umar, remains estranged from the mainstream LP in the state and the presidential ticket of the party.

“I’m here to represent by boss who chooses to be anonymous, he doesn’t want the public to know who he is.

This is a personal gesture by him, donating 50 vehicles for use of the party to ease logistics and aid the party to victory. He has taken it upon himself to take care of the Logistics need of the campaign in the state,” Jabatawa said.

He asked the electorate to vote the LP come Saturday because the party’s candidate is the hope of greatness that Nigeria has.

“We know what the ruling parties these past years have plunged the nation into. The donor believes that the Obi-Dstti is what will take us out of the despicable situation that we find ourselves in. Peter Obi and Datti Ahmed represent hope for Nigeria,” he said.

Receiving the vehicles on behalf of the LP PCC, the state coordinato, Professor Caleb Filli said the donor’s decision to support the campaign council was a decision to support Nigeria because Peter Obi is Nigeria’s hope for better future.

“Peter Obi is the person with capacity, competence and compassion to lead. I urge Nigerians to rekindle the hope that we have by coming out on Saturday to vote him”.

The state chairman of the Labour Party, Mr Christopher Nicholas explained that the vehicles would be deployed for intensified grassroots campaign across the 21 LGAs of Adamawa State.
