The Eze Aro of Arochukwu Kingdom, His Eminence Eberechukwu Oji is billed to speak on energy transition on the sideline of the ongoing World Bank and International Monetary Fund Fall Meetings in Washington, DC, USA.
The monarch was invited by the Corporate Council on Africa (CCA) and the Afro-Caribbean Diaspora Alliance (ADA) to participate in the discussion entitled, “Powering Africa: Financing Gas-Powered Solutions: Fueling Sustainable Growth” on Tuesday, October 22, during the World Bank/IMF meeting.
In a letter dated October 18, the President and CEO of the Corporate Council on Africa, Florizelle B. Liser said Eze Eberechukwu Oji, who is also the Chairman of Eastwise Ventures Limited, will specifically speak on the topic: “LNG Investment: Local Projects with a Global Impact”, at the event.
The first-class monarch from Arochukwu is an expert in energy matters and will be joined by other distinguished speakers including the Senior Vice President of the African Development Bank Group, Marie-Laure Akin-Olugbade, and the Minister of Energy and Oil from the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, Mohamed Ould Khaled. The forum will focus on the multiplier effects of leveraging Africa’s natural gas resources and the investment opportunities and challenges in this dynamic sector.
