Sir. According to the statement, “Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu was a foremost patriot and businessman who made his marks in various sectors of Nigeria’s economy, playing at the very highest levels in a variety of sectors including the media sector. Chief Iwuanyanwu was a giant and a man of immense values who was guided by an insurmountable can-do spirit of a devoted nationalist.”

Speaking about his tenure as the President General of Ohaneze Ndigbo from April last year till his death yesterday, Sir. Chukwuma described Chief Iwuanyanwu as a passionate public servant. “As President General of Ohaneze Ndigbo in the past year, his passion in service and love for ndi Igbo as a true Nigerian, can be seen and even felt in the way he ran the apex Igbo organization from April last year when he assumed office, till his demise on Thursday”, the statement reads.
