The Executive Governor of Abia State Dr Okezie Victor had no hands in the arrest of the lawmaker representing Isiala Ngwa North State Constituency Hon Ginger Onwusibe yesterday, findings has revealed.
Hon Ginger Onwusibe who was arrested by he Department of State Security Services in Abuja after collecting his certificate of return as House of Reps member elect for Isiala Ngwa North and South Federal Constituency was granted bail few hours after his arrest.
Our Abuja correspondent revealed that Hon Ginger Onwusibe’s arrest had no political correlation and neither the Governor of Abia State nor agents of the state government had hand in it.
It was further gathered that the lawmakers arrest may not be unconnected to a certain items he “imported” into the country recently.
